Designing & building interfaces— for developers at GitHub
I’m Daniel Adams, a pragmatic designer and creator with a focus on web interfaces. I work remotely from the Black Forest in Germany as a product manager at GitHub. For more than two decades, I’ve built digital products for companies of all sizes — from startups to global enterprises. I also founded and ran a mobile app development company. I’ve been shaping digital products with care and precision since the late 1990s.

GitHub 2024-2025
Working across product, design, and engineering, I established GitHub's core conversational AI interface that serves as a central hub, making the platform's complexity more approachable through natural conversation. I created a flexible layout suitable for different micro-apps. The goal was to adapt to different contexts and tasks while maintaining platform consistency through componentized shared patterns.
